GETTING A GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND
SETTING UP A BLOG ON BLOGGER
Basically the process is as follows:
1. Go to www.google.com
2. Click on Create an account now
(Or just sign in and go to step 7 if you already have an account)
3. Fill in
- Your email address @bangor.ac.uk
- Password (choose your own) (make sure you remember it!)
- Re-enter your Password
- Location
- Word verification
4. You will be told to check your email for verification
5. Go to your university email box.
When the email verification comes through, click on the link as instructed.
6. This takes you back to your (new) Google Account.
Make a note of your email address.
7. Click where it says 'click here to manage your account'
8. Look at the list of Services on the righthand side and click on Blogger
9. Blogger opens with 3 easy steps and talks you through each of them
- 1. Create an account
- 2. Name your blog
- 3. Choose a template
10. Click on Posts and start writing you first blog entry!
